Mission autonomy leverages AI to create autonomous vessels capable of executing assigned tasks rather than relying on continuous manual control. The operator defines the mission and its constraints, supervises its execution and can intervene when required. If communications are disrupted or satellite navigation becomes unreliable, the vessel can continue executing authorized mission tasks using its onboard systems.

Nautrik Collaborative Autonomy is a platform that enables one operator to task and supervise multiple autonomous units through task orchestration. The units share a common operating picture, receive tasks from a single point of command and coordinate their actions as the situation changes. The system handles the moment-to-moment execution, while the operator retains mission authority and can intervene or take direct control when required.
